Went in to pick up a quick snack of chips. Small portion is small, so ask for large! I actually appreciated the fact the chips were for my son and the owner (I think!) done a small chips. Been back and quality is still the same. I can't give the rest of the food a review as it's a snack but great service and not a chip left in the wrapper!

I have known owner Olivia and her husband Billy since they had a chip shop in Mount Florida more than 30 years ago and they have always offered a consistently good fish supper at a fair price. Well worth driving a little out of your way for great fish and chips.

My husband and I popped into this little spot to grab a quick meal while on holiday in Scotland. The fish and chips were crispy and so delicious and made to order. As we waited for our food to cook, we shared that we were exploring the area because it was where my husband’s ancestors were from. The friendly staff gave us helpful advice about sites to see, including a nearby picnic table with a beautiful view where we could enjoy our meal. They were extremely patient with us American tourists when it was obvious we were having some difficulty understanding their Scottish accents. If ever we find ourselves back in that corner of Scotland again, we’ll be sure to make another stop at Olivia’s for the friendly service and yummy food!
